Indian community events in the Netherlands

The Netherlands has the largest Indian community in the Benelux and a calendar to match. Amsterdam and Amstelveen are the centre โ€” Amstelveen alone has several Indian schools and a dozen grocers โ€” and the tech corridor around Eindhoven has grown a second one around ASML and the High Tech Campus. The Hague adds something no other city has: a large Surinamese-Hindustani community with its own temples, the Gandhi Centre, and festivals that predate the recent wave of arrivals by decades. Expect Bollywood dance workshops in town libraries, Garba and Durga Puja in the polder towns, stand-up comedy tours stopping in Amsterdam, and Diwali celebrations that fill a Rotterdam cruise boat.
