The Festival of Lights at Mount Gravatt Showgrounds (31 October) is the public one; the same night the Diwali Celebration at Kedron-Wavell in Chermside and the Brahma Kumaris’ Diwali in Nundah, then Diwali and Govardhan Puja at Burbank (7 November) and GOPIO’s Diwali high tea in Morningside (15 November) — and on the Gold Coast, the Pimpama fireworks night (24 October) and Grand Diwali at Sea World (7 November).
