Questions
Is there an Indian WhatsApp group in the US?
Not yet on Namaste Community. You can start the first group in the US in the free app, and people nearby will find it here.
Why not just a WhatsApp group?
Invite links get forwarded far beyond the people they were meant for, and every member sees your phone number. Here each group is limited to people who live within a set distance of its town, it is moderated, and your number is never shown to other members.
How do I join?
Open a group below, then join it in the Namaste Community app — it is free.
Can I start my own group in the US?
Yes. In the app, start a group for your town, language or interest; it is reviewed before it appears. Starting a group needs a verified phone number, which stays private.
