About Brussels Diwali Festival 2026
The Brussels Diwali Festival is Belgium's largest Diwali celebration, and in 2026 it holds its tenth edition on the square in front of the Atomium in Laeken, Brussels. It runs over two days — Saturday 24 October from 12:00 to 23:00 and Sunday 25 October from 12:00 to 22:00 — two weeks before Diwali itself on Sunday 8 November.
What to expect: food stalls from across India's regions, an avenue of lamps, stalls with Indian crafts and clothes, classical and folk dance and live music on stage, workshops in dance, rangoli, mehndi and cooking, a Bollywood party, and fireworks over the Atomium in the evening. It is a family day as much as a night out, and it is open to everyone, not only the Indian community.
Tickets: one ticket covers either day or both — €10 online until 30 September, €15 at the gate — and children under 12 go free. Tickets are sold on the organiser's ticket page (link above).
Getting there: the Atomium is next to Heysel metro station on line 6, a few minutes' walk from the square.
