Namaste Community is live — and we’d love the Benelux to try it

Moving to a new country is a strange kind of lonely. Not the dramatic kind — the small, daily kind. You need a plumber who’ll understand what you’re describing. You want to know where to buy curry leaves that aren’t three weeks old. There’s a Diwali party somewhere this weekend and you only hear about it on Monday.

Every one of those problems has an answer. The answer is just sitting in someone else’s head, in a WhatsApp group you’re not in.

Namaste Community is our attempt to put those answers in one place. It’s live now on the App Store and Google Play, it’s free, and today we’re opening it up properly to people across the Benelux — Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Why we want you here early

A community app with nobody in it is just a nicely designed empty room. The first few hundred people decide what this place becomes — which cities have enough listings to be useful, which questions get good answers, whether the events tab is worth checking on a Friday.

So if you’re in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Luxembourg City — or anywhere in between — we’d genuinely love you to try it and post one thing. One listing, one question, one event. That’s what tips it.

Please tell us what’s broken

We’d rather hear that something is annoying than have you quietly uninstall. We read everything, and we do fix things — usually faster than you’d expect for a small team.

   Something is broken

   Tell us what you tapped and what happened instead. A screenshot helps enormously. Send it via the feedback form or message us on WhatsApp.

   Something is missing

   Feature requests go to the same places. Say what you were trying to do — the underlying goal is more useful to us than a proposed solution, and it’s often something we can solve faster than you’d think.

   Something feels off

   Wrong tone, confusing wording, a translation that reads oddly in French or Dutch — that counts too. Those are the things nobody reports and everybody notices.
